Do not uninstall the extension while troubleshooting

Uninstalling the extension may also remove the OnePage Tabs database in your current browser profile. If the library still opens, export a OnePage JSON backup before making changes.

Common tasks

01

Save the current window

  1. Pin OnePage Tabs to your desktop browser toolbar, or open it from Firefox for Android’s Extensions menu.
  2. Click the extension icon.
  3. Wait for the library to open and show the result.
  4. If some tabs could not be saved or closed, follow the visible message instead of clicking repeatedly.
02

Restore saved tabs

  • Select a tab title to restore that tab.
  • Use the group action to restore the whole group.
  • For a large group, restore in the batches shown by the interface.
  • Items that fail to open stay in the saved list.
03

Create an external backup

  1. Open the OnePage Tabs library.
  2. Go to Import & Export.
  3. Export a OnePage JSON file.
  4. Save the file somewhere you trust.

The trash and local rollback records do not replace an external export.

04

Import from OneTab

  1. Export a text list from OneTab.
  2. Open Import & Export in OnePage Tabs.
  3. Choose the text file or paste the exported text.
  4. Review the validation result, then confirm the import.
05

A reminder did not appear

  • Check whether your browser and operating system allow OnePage Tabs to show notifications.
  • The extension cannot show an on-time reminder while the browser or device is off. A local catch-up check runs after the browser resumes.
  • Due items remain in the Continue Now area even when system notifications are unavailable.
  • A reminder never restores or opens a web page automatically.
06

Continue on another device with Google Drive sync

  1. Open Settings → Google Drive sync and click Connect Google Drive and start syncing.
  2. On another device, connect the same Google account. OnePage automatically finds and safely joins the existing standard-sync library without replacing the whole local library.
  3. Normal changes are queued locally first and sync while the browser is running. On Firefox desktop, Google authorization opens through Firefox’s WebExtension identity flow; on Firefox for Android, it opens in a dedicated authorization tab. OnePage never receives your Google password or access token.
  4. For an immediate handoff, use Save all, which saves locally before trying to sync, and wait for the sync-complete message before closing the browser.

The extension cannot upload while the browser or device is fully closed. Queued changes resume after the browser starts again.

07

Disconnect, recover, or delete cloud data

  • Disconnect this device clears its local sync key and authorization cache, but keeps both local tabs and encrypted Drive data.
  • Permanently delete cloud data removes the current sync library from Drive after a confirmation phrase, but keeps tabs on this device.
  • Uninstalling the extension may delete local tabs and the local key, but does not delete Drive data. Reconnect the same Google account after reinstalling to continue the sync library.
  • If local and cloud data both exist, OnePage shows a preview and requires confirmation before a safe merge. It does not silently overwrite the local library.
